Job Description

The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is looking for a Strategic Supply Chain Manager (SSCM) to join our dynamic supply chain team, based in Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; Seattle, WA; New York City; Santa Monica; or Arlington, VA.

As an SSCM, you'll play a key role in developing supply chain plans with vendors, overseeing execution, and achieving service level and cost-to-serve goals. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and reduce costs, operating across both online and in-store channels.

Success in this role requires comfort with data-driven decision making, building scalable systems, and thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Strong candidates will have retail or supply chain experience, be highly organized, analytical, and able to influence internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supply planning and inventory health, including product availability, vendor management, demand forecasting, and waste reduction.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer experience and optimize costs.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for revenue and profitability improvements.
  • Partner with teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements impacting purchasing and vendor management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of statistical inventory control principles
