Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions seeks a Senior Director, Supply Chain to lead procurement, planning, materials management, warehousing, logistics, and S&OP at our Bloomington site. You will drive continuity, optimize inventory, and align demand with capacity and financial goals.

The role requires 10+ years in regulated manufacturing supply chains, 5+ years managing managers, and a track record in cross‑functional leadership, Lean practices, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/APICS preferred.
• 10+ years progressive supply chain leadership in regulated manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading managers and building high‑performing teams.
• Experience leading procurement, planning, materials, warehousing, and logistics.
• Led S&OP or IBP processes and cross‑functional alignment.
• Strong inventory, capacity planning, and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site supply chain strategy to support growth, excellence, and customer fulfillment.
• Provide leadership for Procurement, Capacity Planning, Materials Management, Warehousing, and Logistics.
• Own the site's S&OP process aligning demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and finances.
• Lead monthly Site Operations Review for data‑driven decisions and risk management.
• Develop capacity and inventory strategies to support revenue growth and continuity.
• Drive supply chain metrics: inventory, service levels, delivery performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Technical Services, Finance, Program Management, and Commercial teams.
• Lead supply chain transformation and continuous improvement for scalability and efficiency.
• Establish and manage the Supply Chain budget and profitability improvements.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing supply chain organization with succession plans.
• Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, and risk factors affecting commitments.
