Job summary

Opengear, part of Digi International, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end materials planning, inventory strategy, and logistics from our Sandy, UT facility. This hybrid role focuses on reducing inventory, cutting freight costs, and ensuring on-time delivery across the supply chain.

You will manage supplier relations, drive PPV savings, and collaborate with Engineering on NPI readiness while leveraging ERP systems and data analytics to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive supply chain experience with a relevant degree or equivalent.
• Proven track record reducing inventory and improving working capital.
• Experience with freight optimization and global sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end inventory strategy and working capital management.
• Drive freight cost reduction and optimize ocean vs air/ground freight.
• Lead supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Manage MRP to support master production schedule and mitigate risks.
• Maintain ERP data integrity and collaborate with Engineering on NPI readiness.
