Hercules Industries is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance with increasing autonomy. This role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, improving supplier performance, and driving measurable outcomes across cost, service, and working capital.

The successful candidate will independently manage sourcing, planning, and supplier activities while applying data, analytics, and market insights to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors preferred in business, supply chain, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 47 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing/inventory management.
• Experience using automated purchasing, ERP, or inventory management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with vendors and teams.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned SKUs, suppliers, and purchasing activity within assigned commodities.
• Manages cost, inventory, service, and supplier performance outcomes.
• Develops sourcing, negotiates with suppliers, and identifies cost reduction opportunities.
• Drives inventory turns and working capital improvements.
• Supports cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) in planning processes.
