Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; 8–10+ years of materials experience (Purchasing, Planning & Materials).
• EMS experience preferred; strong ERP understanding and workflow.
• APICS CPIM or CIRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Purchasing and Planning functions.
• Create demand management and planning cadence.
• Own site ERP planning parameters for demand management.
• Perform risk management and supply chain modeling.
• Collaborate with customers to model demand in ERP processes.
• Monitor capacity planning and level load the factory.
• Identify demand changes and actions for business units.
• Plan inventory quantities for components and assemblies to optimize turnover.
• Develop monthly/quarterly site sales commitments vs. demand loads.
• Coordinate analysis and strategies to support business units.
• Ensure high levels of service and operational integrity.
• Pursue continuous improvement and do things right the first time.
• Track and report inventory actions by customer.
• Follow established procedures for materials functions.
• Manage performance evaluations, mentoring, and training.
• Support ISO/QMS standards and 6S objectives.
