Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Finance to lead strategic analysis, budgeting and forecasting for the distribution centers and transportation network. This hands-on role blends FP&A and accounting, with a 70/30 split, ensuring GAAP/SOX compliance and strong internal controls.

The position supports Methuen, MA or Wells, ME DCs, oversees close processes, prepares executive-ready analyses, and guides cost-benefit decisions with data-driven insights for Supply Chain

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive accounting, FP&A, financial analysis or supply chain finance experience with a Fortune 500 company, including leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of period-end close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls and inventory accounting.
• Ability to build financial/data models and translate data into clear insights for non-finance leaders; excellent Excel reporting.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools and ERP/warehouse systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic analysis, budgeting, forecasting and planning for distribution centers and transportation network.
• Coordinate all budgeting/forecasting activities for distribution centers.
• Translate complex financial data into concise recommendations for leadership.
• Oversee accounting close, internal controls and reporting to GAAP/SOX standards.
• Manage inventory controls, SOX processes and risk governance across locations.
• Develop staff and build a coordinated finance team across sites.
