Job summary

Kids for the Future in Shelbyville, IL is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager responsible for directing the SQA group, supplier audits, PPAP submissions, and ongoing supplier quality programs.

You will work with QA and Engineering to improve supplier performance, develop a supplier rating system, and ensure PPAP documentation and cost reductions are pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2-3 years of supervision experience in manufacturing or QA roles.
• 5-10 years in supplier quality or related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) group and activities.
• Lead supplier audits, PPAP submissions, and quality program evaluations.
• Develop and maintain a supplier rating system using quality data.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering to drive design and process improvements.
• Oversee PPAP documentation for current and new suppliers.
• Manage budget and cost reduction initiatives related to quality.
