Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Coopersville, MI is actively seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support manufacturing partners by developing quality improvement plans, auditing suppliers, and driving PPAP/APQP processes. You will collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new suppliers and monitor performance for continuous improvements.

The role requires 3+ years in supplier quality or manufacturing quality, strong QA tools knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
3+ years in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and quality tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis).
Demonstrated ability to conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new suppliers and parts.
Monitor and analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Drive the implementation of APQP/PPAP processes with suppliers for new product introductions.
Manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and ensure timely resolution.
