Job summary

GE HealthCare in Madison, WI invites a Supplier Quality & Development Engineering Co-op to partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reduce supply chain risk. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Available to work a minimum of 28 weeks.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to relocate to Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
• Monitor supplier certifications and quality metrics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Assist with supplier communications and corrective action follow-up.
• Apply data analytics, automation, and digital tools to improve processes.
