Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation (HL MCA) seeks an SQA Engineer to ensure purchased parts and supplier processes meet quality requirements. You will lead NCRs, 8D, supplier audits, APQP/PPAP for new programs, and collaborate with product teams to drive root-cause and preventive actions.

The role requires strong knowledge of automotive core tools, GD&T, and data analysis, with three years in supplier/manufacturing quality; on-site in Georgia, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality.
Experience in quality stabilization through dimensional analysis, defect reduction, and process improvement.
Experience working with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
Knowledge of Automotive Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

Issue NCRs and lead supplier containment and corrective action activities.
Lead the 8D problem‑solving process and evaluate root cause analysis and effectiveness.
Review supplier processes and quality documents for compliance.
Lead supplier quality meetings and scorecards to improve performance.
Participate in APQP/4M/EO changes, PPAP audits, and supplier PPAP/PSW approvals.
