Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. is seeking a Supplier Development Quality Engineer in Scarborough, ME to oversee supplier selection, qualification, and performance.

You will drive inspection strategies, CAPA, and change management while collaborating with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality to ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires 2–4 years in supplier or manufacturing quality and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and validate suppliers and readiness.
• Contribute to supplier improvement plans to address performance gaps.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve process capability and product quality.
• Track supplier quality metrics and perform trend analysis.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify risks and systemic issues.
• Support supplier reviews and follow-up on improvement actions.
• Investigate supplier-related defects, incoming issues, and field failures.
• Own supplier nonconformance management including containment, resolution and closure.
• Support root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Drive supplier corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Communicate supplier quality issues and track resolution progress.
• Assist in optimizing inspection strategies based on risk.
• Provide guidance to inspection teams as needed.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality teams.
• Provide input to supplier-related quality decisions.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
• Analyze data to identify trends for improvement.
• Own supplier change management processes including review and approval.
