Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Supplier DevelopmentRepresentative to serve as the primary field liaison with assigned suppliers and vendors. The role requires on-site supplier visits, monitoring progress against PO dates, and expediting critical orders.

You will develop recovery plans for delays, establish firm shipment dates, and escalate issues with concise status reporting. Travel to supplier facilities is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, production control, supplier management, program support, or related field.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, material flow, purchase orders, and bills of material.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and visit supplier manufacturing facilities on short notice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field representative for assigned suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct routine on-site supplier visits to verify manufacturing progress against PO commitments.
• Monitor and expedite critical, long-lead, and overdue orders.
• Develop and track recovery plans for delayed deliveries.
• Identify and escalate risks in schedule, quality, capacity, or materials.
