Job summary

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. in Depew, NY is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to ensure timely delivery of high quality and cost-effective products from a competitive supplier base.

The role collaborates with Purchasing, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, Quality and Sales to set standards and drive supplier performance. The position requires 5+ years in manufacturing/sourcing and an ISO/AS quality environment, with strong ERP and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, sourcing, commodity purchasing, or project management.
• Working knowledge to read drawings, tolerances, and dimensional data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the procurement primary point of contact for supplier quality and development efforts.
• Manage PCB’s Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier performance records.
• Lead supplier-related efforts to develop new process technology and supply chain methods.
• Perform supplier audits and root cause analysis related to non-conforming materials, products or services.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and set standards for supplier selection and performance.
