Job summary

K2 Space, based in Los Angeles, is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to define and implement supplier development strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and procurement teams, evaluating suppliers and improving their processes to support K2's missions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering along with at least 3 years in a relevant role. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $145,000, and you will be expected to travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a quality, reliability, supply chain, or engineering role.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and tools.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers, and strategic technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Assess supplier capabilities and manufacturing requirements.
• Manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and reliability campaigns.
• Lead resolution of supplier issues and corrective actions.
