Job summary

V2X is seeking a Subcontracts Lead to manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts and purchase orders for DoW and other U.S. government programs. The role requires collaboration with Program Management, Supply Chain, Legal, and Contracts to ensure compliant, competitive awards and effective administration.

Responsibilities cover cradle-to-grave management, strategy development, bid solicitations, negotiations, and performance oversight in contingency and rapid‑deployment environments. U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in subcontract management, procurement, or contracts in a government contracting environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, high value subcontracts under FAR/DFARS and related regulations.
• Experience supporting DoW/DoD or other U.S. government programs.
• Experience operating in fast paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities and compressed timelines.

Responsibilities

• Leads cradle to grave subcontract management for complex programs from planning through closeout.
• Develops subcontracting strategies that support program objectives and risk management, including contingency operations.
• Prepares solicitations (RFPs/RFQs/RFIs); leads source selection, evaluation, and negotiation in compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Drafts and negotiates subcontract terms, NDAs, teaming agreements, and related documents.
• Manages subcontractor performance including cost, schedule, and quality; initiates corrective actions.
• Provides guidance and training on subcontracting policies to program teams.
