Oliver James is seeking a Statistical Reporting Manager to oversee the accurate preparation, review, and submission of statistical and regulatory reports across commercial insurance lines. This role partners with technology, underwriting, claims, and finance to enhance reporting processes and data quality.

The candidate will lead reporting teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure all regulatory obligations are met within required timelines, maintaining strong data governance and controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in commercial Property & Casualty insurance with focus on statistical and regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C products and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience with bureau reporting, statistical filings, and state regulatory submissions.
• Familiarity with reporting technologies and data platforms including data warehouses/lakes.
• Ability to translate regulatory changes into procedures and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical and regulatory reporting activities to regulatory agencies and bureaus.
• Establish and monitor reporting controls and QA for filings.
• Improve reporting workflows and data integrity.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders on systems and data processes.
• Provide expertise on reporting requirements and regulatory changes.
• Research regulatory updates and ensure accurate implementation.
• Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies and industry groups.
• Oversee data validation, reconciliation, and audit activities.
• Convert regulatory requirements into actionable processes and solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data collection and reporting capabilities.
• Lead and mentor reporting teams and drive continuous improvement.
