Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Director, State and Local Government Affairs in New Mexico to represent company policy priorities before state and local officials. You will work with corporate leadership to advance policy objectives, monitor developments, and align policy with business goals, including data center delivery.

The role requires strong policy experience, excellent communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of public policy experience at the state/local level with technology policy.
• Relationships with state/local officials including executive and legislative branches.
• Ability to align state/local policy with business interests and lead complex initiatives.
• Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, oral communication and analytical skills for policy makers.
• Experience briefing and staffing senior-level executives.
• Experience managing contract lobbyists and external resources.
• Experience representing company at external policy events.
• Commitment to integrity and compliance with laws and company values.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
