Job summary

This role provides leadership in messaging around areas such as clean energy, technology innovation, regulatory initiatives, and major company initiatives.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads external communications to provide strategic counsel and expertise from conception to execution to enhance the company's reputation.
• Provides leadership, coaching and development to direct reports and fosters an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Supports corporate communications focus areas including issues management, executive communications and message integration.
• Leads resolution initiatives for issue management and supports crisis communications at multiple levels.
• Sets messaging strategies for high-profile projects with external impact.
• Prepares executives to act as thought leaders and positions them with media and industry groups.
• Engages with media relations and customer communications to integrate strategy across departments.
• Establishes and tracks performance against key metrics.
