Job summary

Unchain Data is building a performance-driven workforce analytics function to optimize customer support staffing and outcomes. As a Short Term Planning Analyst, you will analyze 1–90 day demand, identify gaps, and recommend adjustments to improve forecast accuracy and staffing efficiency.

You will collaborate with Operations, Forecasting, and vendor teams across Westlake, Chicago, and Denver offices, with a minimum of three days per week in person.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of analytics/ops/consulting experience.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with SQL or similar data tools.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication across diverse audiences.
• Experience with Python, R, or data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Use data to guide staffing decisions to meet service level targets.
• Analyze trends and identify forecast variance causes.
• Build and maintain reports and models for short-term staffing plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Forecasting, and vendor teams.
• Translate data into clear insights for decision-making.
