The role involves coordinating sponsorships for Squadron activities, negotiating terms with sponsors, and ensuring compliance with Air Force policies. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Marketing Operations Supervisor in maintaining a year-round marketing, publicity and communications plan.
• Acquires and coordinates commercial sponsorship for FSS activities and programs.
• Compiles a list of events and programs to seek sponsorship.
• Develops solicitation packets and solicits sponsors locally and nationally.
• Negotiates sponsorship terms and executes supporting documents.
• Coordinates with the Staff Judge Advocate to ensure terms follow guidance and policies.
• Ensures AF and sponsor compliance with sponsorship agreements.
• Attends events and serves as sponsor point of contact.
• Provides sponsors with publicity copies and prepares thank you letters and reports.
• Stays current on administration of the sponsorship program and advertising.
• Identifies advertising vehicles to market under the program.
• Develops pricing and rate structures for paid advertising in publications and venues.
• Negotiates terms of advertising and maintains necessary documents.
• Tracks advertising payments for accountability.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
