Job summary

University of California, Office of the President seeks a Workplace Manager to lead strategic space and asset management across UCOP facilities. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in architectural/interior design, space or asset management and/or PM.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication; strong negotiation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of space planning, construction, and California Building Codes.
• Proficient with CAD/graphic software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead space planning and relocation to support UCOP operations and staff needs.
• Manage large and small relocation projects with pre-move planning and post-move coordination.
• Develop workplace strategies, assess space utilization, and coordinate with clients and vendors.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and approvals; ensure compliance and safety.
• Coordinate with BASC leadership, HR, and departments for accommodations and space needs.
• Prepare floor layouts using AutoCAD, Revit and visualization tools; maintain documentation.
