Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a strategic Communications Manager 2 to lead the CORE team, delivering integrated content across campaigns. You will translate complex topics into clear content and partner with cross-functional leaders to tell the Space story.

You will manage operations, drive continuous improvements, and mentor a diverse team while coordinating with business leaders to ensure engaging, consistent communications across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in a Communications capacity or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CORE team for content execution and day-to-day direction.
• Own CORE operations: intake, resourcing, workflows, prioritization and process improvements.
• Partner with strategy, operations and divisional teams to bring the Space story to life across channels.
• Translate strategy into execution plans and ensure alignment with priority campaigns and programs.
• Develop integrated communication plans and compelling narratives for major initiatives.
• Use data and feedback to assess impact and inform content, channels and workflows.
• Collaborate with leaders to align priorities and ensure consistent execution across the portfolio.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to build a high-performing team.
