Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a strategic Communications Manager 2 to lead the CORE team, delivering compelling content and execution across priority campaigns and capabilities. You will guide day-to-day activities, align with strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across the Space portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in a Communications capacity OR 4+ years with a Master-level degree.
• People leadership experience and proven ability to develop talent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance and U.S. Citizenship at application time.

• Lead and manage the CORE content execution team.
• Oversee intake, resourcing, workflows and execution processes.
• Partner with strategy and operations to bring the Space story to life.
• Translate strategy into clear execution plans for campaigns and capabilities.

• Collaborate with leaders to align priorities and execute consistently across the portfolio.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to the team.
