Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking a Financial Management Subject Matter Expert to support the Space Systems Command in El Segundo, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Top-Secret Clearance and relevant experience to provide strategic insight and support for budget management processes. This role offers a competitive salary between $155,000 and $170,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years of Program/Acquisition Management experience in the DoD/Space Force environment.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• Master’s degree is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of documentation for the PPBES and budget reviews.
• Analyze executive-level budget and execution decision-making processes.
• Identify roadblocks and changes needed to evolve organizational structure.

Skills

Program/Acquisition Management experience in the DoD/Space Force environment

PEM experience at the Pentagon

Launch and Range acquisition and execution experience

Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Zoom, PowerBI, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Excellent communication, quantitative, and analytical skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Strong knowledge of DoD financial, acquisition, operational, and project management processes

Master’s degree in math, business/economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics

Education

Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, business, or sciences
