Job summary

Advatix Inc. in San Diego seeks a Sourcing Specials / Supply Chain professional to identify and implement integrated supply chain improvements. You will build alliances with external partners and internal teams to ensure robust proposals and risk assessments.

The role focuses on benchmarking, data analysis, and cost-effective supply chain optimization, leveraging lean, six-sigma, and constraints theory to drive value for the business and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• General understanding of ferrous metallurgy and foundry practices.
• Knowledge of turbine and compressor design.
• Familiar with ASTM, ASME, NACE and API specs.
• Experience in supply chain and customer relationship management.
• Experience in production management.
• Lean/6-sigma and Theory of Constraints knowledge.
• Established network of industry leaders.
• Understanding of traditional machining and NDE processes.

Job Description:
Identifying, defining, and implementing integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
Establishing and governing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions. Responsible for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
Investigating and recommending industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.

Qualifications:
