As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist within PNC’s Supply Chain organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic
2. Manage RFx events from initial ideation through contract execution.
3. Support strategic initiatives within Supply Chain Management and multiple business areas including Realty Services and Supply Chain Operations.
4. Manage multiple BAU projects in support of previous and current strategic engagements.
5. Identify operational and category strategies.
6. Tactical
7. Contract negotiations.
8. Review project pipeline and expiring contracts.
9. Support processes of other areas of Supply Chain Management as needed.

11. This is a senior individual contributor role.
12. Manage multiple projects daily across various business areas while connecting with business partners and other supply chain team members.
13. Proactively facilitate project movement weekly, lead steering committees, and embrace personal and career growth opportunities.
14. Report monthly/quarterly to executive leadership to ensure visibility and strategic alignment.
15. Key Criteria for success in this role:

17. Experience with technology platforms supporting supply chain processes (ERP, S2P, risk management, etc.).
18. Familiarity with products and services used/provided by financial services organizations.

Job Description

• Researches and negotiates major organizational contracts and procurements.
• Prepares complex purchasing assignments requiring vendor selection and pricing comparisons.
• Consults with vendors to obtain optimal pricing and availability information. Negotiates highly complex organizational purchases.
• Negotiates with vendors to obtain quality, cost, and terms.
• Develops and monitors purchasing strategies and initiates improvements as necessary.
