Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Buying Specialist Sourcing to procure goods and services and coordinate with internal customers and suppliers. You will review requisitions, engage vendors, and drive cost improvements while supporting MRP-driven purchasing and production ramp-up.

Responsibilities include managing supplier performance, handling last-time buys, and ensuring on-time delivery and inventory control within an ISO-aligned SCM framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to Six years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management and supplier management.
• Experience with SAP and spreadsheet proficiency (Excel/Google Sheets).
• Familiarity with ISO standards and SCM policies.

Responsibilities

• Procures goods and services to support business operations.
• Acts as liaison between internal customers and suppliers on pre-production ramp up and production.
• Reviews requisitions, negotiates and initiates contracts for parts and supplies.
• Manages last time buys for end-of-life products and ensures on-time delivery.
• Monitors purchase price variance, inventory levels and audit readiness.
