Sharp HealthCare seeks a Program Manager for Sourcing Category Management to lead high‑value procurement efforts. You will develop category strategies, analyze spend, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers while coordinating with Legal, Finance, and clinical/non-clinical stakeholders.

The role demands strong contract and cost-management skills, with a focus on delivering cost savings and operational improvements across the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, operations research, materials management, economics, or related discipline required; or 4 years of healthcare supply chain experience may substitute for degree.
• Supply chain-related certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a contract calendar for assigned product committees and drive standardized strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal to analyze contracts and align with Sharp HealthCare's interests.
• Publish contract portfolio and ensure system-wide awareness and compliance.
• Monitor category spend and strive to exceed goals; perform cost variance analyses.
• Lead RFPs/RFQ bids, supplier evaluation, and negotiations; document final terms.
