Job summary

Vistra Energy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to drive savings and protect contractual terms across sourcing events and procurement processes. You will gather requirements, analyze spend, profile markets, conduct supplier negotiations, and manage contracts, invoicing exceptions, and supplier performance.

You will coordinate with internal customers to develop sourcing strategies delivering quantifiable savings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing large sourcing events and negotiating commercial & legal terms.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and strong analytical skills – able to construct/execute multiple analyses (e.g. TCO, NPV; cost-price analyses) simultaneously
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing events across categories and drive savings.
• Coordinate contracting and procurement processes with internal/external stakeholders.
• Analyze spend and develop cost savings estimates.
• Negotiate commercial and legal terms with suppliers and manage contract lifecycle.
• Develop supplier performance metrics and conduct regular business reviews.
• Promote and support Vistra’s supplier diversity program.
