Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to transform how the organization manages over $120M in external spend across construction, temporary labor, freight and logistics, and software/SaaS. The role focuses on building a proactive sourcing pipeline, a 12–24 month strategy, and measurable cost savings.

You will lead RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection, partnering with Finance, IT, Operations and Legal to drive cost reductions and business value. This position reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in strategic sourcing, consulting, or category management.
• Proven success leading sourcing events and supplier negotiations.
• Experience building or managing sourcing pipelines or calendars.
• Strong ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Proactively collaborate with category owners and stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities.
• Lead RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Own complex negotiations and create leverage through benchmarking.
• Develop and manage a 12–24 month sourcing and renewals calendar.
• Quantify savings, cost avoidance, and value delivered.
• Build business cases and influence decision-making.
