Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Mechanical Components in Southeastern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois to lead sourcing strategy for a $75M annual spend in fabrication and machined components. You will evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate contracts, and drive cost improvements.

The role requires collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain, with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule and limited travel to supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business is required.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supplier development experience.
• Experience with fabricated, machined, or engineered mechanical components.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Lead supplier selection, onboarding, development, and rationalization.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing strategies to drive cost reductions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Product Management, and Finance.
