Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to oversee a $105M spend portfolio within Corporate Services Procurement. You will guide a small sourcing team, align with senior stakeholders, and drive global category strategies to deliver cost savings and productivity gains.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with travel up to 20% including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics or engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for managing $105M spend, reporting to the Director Corporate Services Procurement.
• Supervise two sourcing specialists supporting the category strategy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine current and future sourcing needs and develop category strategies.
• Deliver cost savings and continuous improvement plans.
• Identify and manage global projects in alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage supplier base to ensure quality, service, technology and value; qualify alternate sources.
• Negotiate and implement supply agreements with favorable terms.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers to advance objectives and capabilities.
• Develop and evolve a cost savings/productivity plan with stakeholders to exceed productivity goals.
• Address supplier performance issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain e-Sourcing events and catalogs to boost productivity.
• Monitor Buy channel compliance and improve spend management.
