Job summary

Vibrant Ingredients, headquartered in Lake Mary, FL, seeks a Category Sourcing Manager in Indianapolis to lead enterprise-wide sourcing for ingredients and packaging materials. You will partner with Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Finance to drive supplier strategy, risk mitigation, and contract management while delivering cost efficiencies.

The role reports to the Vice President of Procurement and requires 8–10 years in procurement with strong category management expertise and a track record in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 8–10 years in procurement with strategic sourcing and category management.
• Experience with food ingredients and packaging preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and supplier network development.
• Global sourcing experience and contract negotiation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop category sourcing strategies to ensure supply and quality.
• Lead enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives for cost efficiencies.
• Negotiate long-term supply agreements and manage contracts.
• Coordinate logistics and supplier performance improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Finance on supplier decisions.
• Drive supply continuity, risk mitigation, and innovation enablement.
• Coach and mentor team members and influence stakeholders.
