Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking a Purchasing Leader in Charlotte, NC to drive strategy and performance for the purchasing function. You will lead a team, track KPIs, and ensure alignment with cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost reduction initiatives within a dynamic supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of purchasing, procurement, or sourcing spend.
• Able to develop new suppliers/vendors-negotiate contracts, create RFPs
• Fluent in excel, able to create processes
• Action oriented, able to create cost saving changes
• Able to balance multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the team.
• Responsible for tracking and achieving annual KPIs for Purchasing.
• Facilitate supply chain strategy reviews between Commodity Managers and cross functional teams.
• Drive early engagement in new product development to support launch, cost, and quality objectives.
• Manage supplier contracting process and provide guidance on negotiation tactics.
• Lead the material cost reduction process.
