Job summary

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and coordinate sourcing plans across sites, targeting maximum cost savings while improving quality and delivery. This high-visibility role requires leading supplier negotiations, RFQ/RFQ development, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in strategic purchasing, strong data analytics, and ERP/Microsoft Office proficiency. Travel up to 25% and passport validity are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive cost-focused strategy for assigned sites and commodities across Nortek Air Solutions.
• Responsible for sourcing strategy, supply market analysis, supplier capability assessment, supplier recruitment and management, RFQ/P development, analysis of complex data, and managing projects across multiple sites.
• Participates in assessment and prioritization of strategic sourcing opportunities to achieve business objectives.
• Lead cross functional product development activities with key suppliers.
• Supports performance tracking activities including sourcing savings, contract compliance and other measures.
• Ensure price controllership via PPV reporting and contract management.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years strategic purchasing experience or equivalent.
• Proven success in meeting aggressive cost reduction, supplier negotiation and productivity targets.
• Advanced analytical abilities and problem-solving techniques in understanding data collection and the ability to develop intuitive and actionable insights
• Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ERP systems
• Travel up to 25%, some international travel.
• Must be able to maintain a valid passport.

Preferred:

• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• MBA Preferred
• CPSM and/or APICS certified
