A leading national contractor seeks an experienced professional to create and deliver a national category management strategy within the MEP business unit. You will manage a small team of Category Managers and have responsibility for a significant MEP spend. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of procurement experience and strong leadership skills. Responsible for a £250m MEP spend within this national business unit.
Newly created role to manage the growing central category team.
Leading a small team of 2 Category Managers.
Hands on role where you will be leading the end to end category management of indirects.
10+ years managing procurement strategy and categories for a leading contractor or subcontractor.
5+ years of subcontract procurement experience across any MEP, FM or Construction packages and projects.
Experience leading a small strategic procurement team.
Strong personality with gravitas in order to achieve stakeholder requirements.
Relevant degree or CIPS is desirable.
