Role Description

The Strategic Sourcing Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, and finance to align sourcing decisions with business objectives. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will monitor supplier performance, lead supplier development initiatives, mitigate supply risks, and continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and value creation. The role also involves preparing sourcing reports, maintaining procurement documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Development activities to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in Supplier Management, including building long-term partnerships and monitoring supplier performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Procurement, with a track record of achieving favorable commercial terms and cost savings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
• Strong analytical, financial, and data-driven decision-making skills, including experience with sourcing tools and ERP systems.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably HVACR or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while upholding ethical and compliance standards.
