Job summary

Elite Search Solutions Limited is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead indirects, IT/Technology category strategies in a hybrid Charlotte, NC setting. This role partners with senior stakeholders to deliver cost savings and transform procurement across multiple spend areas.

You will manage category management activities, negotiations, tenders, and auctions, shaping supplier relationships and driving measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years’ procurement experience in a major USA or international company.
• Good negotiation skills and natural persuasion.
• Good understanding of supply chain and procurement practices.
• Category Management experience in IT, Technology or Indirects.
• Strong track record of savings delivery within a high spend environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with key stakeholders and analyze data to create category management approaches.
• Advise and agree on the procurement strategy for high spend categories.
• Deliver measurable savings through hands on category management including undertaking tenders, negotiations and auctions.
• Provide the enquiry, insight and creative thought needed to deliver a step change in supply chain performance.
• Influence stakeholders to secure agreement to proposed solutions.
• Use of leading edge tools and processes and creative thinking to design solutions which deliver rapid cost savings and improvements in performance.
• Deliver projects within agreed timescales.

Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Indirects / IT / Technology)

Location: Hybrid role with circa 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC office

Our client is undergoing an exciting period of growth within the US, therefore are seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to join their expanding procurement team.

The position offers experienced procurement professionals the chance to really excel their career, working across multiple sectors and a diverse range of spend areas. These are fast-paced roles and you will be familiar in successfully managing and influencing senior clients and/or stakeholders with strong experience of savings delivery within a high spend environment.

The roles will provide you with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in the US across multiple different industries and categories and give you exposure to a variety of exciting large scale procurement transformation programmes.

We are particularly interested in IT/Technology category experience as well as broader Indirect specialists. Any previous healthcare industry experience would also be highly beneficial, although not essential.
