Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies across US and Canada. This individual contributor will join the OIEC team and be based onsite with a hybrid schedule in Lenexa, Kansas, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of sourcing or procurement experience.
• Proven experience in enterprise-level indirect spend management.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated success driving change management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with SAP, Ariba, Power BI, and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing: architect the global sourcing strategy for indirect spend across US & Canada.
• Develop multi-tiered sourcing strategies to mitigate risks and leverage supplier partnerships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and capacity for long-term cost advantages.
• Implement standard work and KPIs for cost, lead time and supplier quality.
• Drive risk mitigation: address constraints and market volatility.
• Support adoption of new reporting tools and data processes through training and documentation.
• Lead change management for new suppliers, system enhancements, dashboards, and process improvements.
• Ensure reporting solutions align with supply chain strategy and compliance.
• Contribute to data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
