Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Novi, Michigan is seeking a Sourcing Manager for a 12-month contract. You will drive strategic sourcing and supplier development to secure critical materials, improve competitiveness, and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Operations, and Finance to align supplier decisions with business goals, leading cost-out and performance initiatives. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 7+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier development experience.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing, including RFQ and supplier selection activities.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience implementing cost reduction initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across North America and other strategic regions.
• Develop sourcing strategies for critical commodities, assemblies, and purchased components, including RFQ leadership, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Establish dual-source and risk-mitigation strategies for key materials and components.
• Lead make-versus-buy analyses, supplier consolidation initiatives, and localization/reshore opportunities.
• Partner with Quality and cross-functional teams to support supplier quality, audits, and qualification activities.
