AvtechTyee seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead company-wide sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations, reducing total cost of ownership while ensuring supplier performance and risk management. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and business units to optimize requirements and drive cost savings.

The role requires 5+ years in sourcing, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP/spend-analysis tools. A CPSM/CPIM is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience across multiple spend categories.
Proven ability to negotiate cost savings and favorable contract terms.
Strong analytical skills to build spend and savings models and present to leadership.
Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills across the business.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies across spend categories company-wide.
Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, contracts, and service levels to reduce total cost of ownership.
Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers; diversify supplier base to reduce single-source risk.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, and stakeholders to influence specifications for cost advantages.
Manage supplier performance through scorecards and business reviews; resolve issues.
