Cohu, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Lead to join the Supply Chain team in Rancho Bernardo.

The role focuses on defining and executing sourcing strategies for Test Handler components, owning supplier strategy, performance, and risk mitigation to support development and production. Collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management is essential to ensure continuity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive responsibility in strategic sourcing functions, preferably in back‑end semiconductor capital equipment.
• Experience with supplier management, NPI sourcing, and cost/lead-time improvements.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for Test Handler‑related commodities in North America.
• Segment the supply base and manage supplier risk and performance.
• Lead supplier negotiations, reviews, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management.
• Support NPI sourcing and make/buy decisions.
