Job summary

Lowe’s Corporate HQ in Mooresville, NC is seeking a sourcing professional to partner with Enterprise Strategic Sourcing. You will drive RFx processes, perform baseline analyses and vendor evaluations, and support vendor onboarding and contract execution.

Responsibilities include RFP/RFI development, bid analysis, negotiations, and maintaining strong customer relationships. A strong background in procurement, finance, and Excel/PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years sourcing, market intelligence or vendor management experience with emphasis on sourcing, negotiations and contracting.
• 3+ years business experience and financial acumen.
• Experience with financial data analysis and strong PowerPoint/Excel skills.
• Knowledge and experience using E-sourcing tools.

• Interfaces with customers regarding project updates and status.
• Builds and maintains effective customer relationships.

Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to partner with key areas of the Enterprise Strategic Sourcing team to execute sourcing projects that accomplish the goals of both the organization and the business units they support. This position works closely with the sourcing manager and category manager to executive a variety of sourcing techniques that include data and baseline analysis, RFx development and contract execution. Other key components of the role include contributing to continuous improvement activities, building relationships with the business and support teams, and supporting key initiatives for the organization.

What You Will Do

• Develops and executes RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, etc. as needed to support the business needs
• Develops baseline analysis and current conditions for sourcing events.
• Consolidates vendor bid sheets.
• Completes initial bid analysis for sourcing events.
• Initiates vendor outreach and develops vendor list for sourcing events.
• Sets up sourcing events using appropriate E-Sourcing tools and processes.
• Owns and updates ESS and business partners on sourcing project updates and status of initiatives.
• Negotiates, processes and executes vendor NDA’s and Master Agreements, while adhering to financial policies and compliance requirements.
• Drafts and develops Statement of Work (SOWs) with the outline of technical requirements for sourcing projects and RFX events.
• Coordinates necessary documentation and process for vendor on-boarding.
• Expected to interface frequently with customers regarding project updates and status.
• Builds and maintains effective customer relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 3 Years Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ Years sourcing, market intelligence or vendor management experience. Experience in procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance or similar work with an emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting
• 3+ years business experience
• Knowledge and experience using E-sourcing tools
• Financial and business acumen
• Experience with financial data analysis, strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

• Master’s degree Business, Engineering, Science, or related field MBA, JD, MS, ME
• Project management skills
