Amphenol Corporation's ACS division is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Santa Clara, CA, to lead global sourcing, supplier management, and supply continuity for high‑speed electronic components used in optical networking products.

The ideal candidate combines an engineering background with deep supplier relationships and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize cost, technology roadmaps, and risk, while aligning with engineering and product teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience in the semiconductor, electronics, optical module, or networking industries
• Proven relationships with leading semiconductor suppliers, including ADI, TI, MPS, Broadcom, Marvell, MACOM, and Semtech
• Strong understanding of semiconductor components, electronic supply chains, and supplier management
• Experience in supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and supply continuity planning
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluent English required; Mandarin is a plus

Responsabilités

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for semiconductors, ICs, DSPs, drivers, TIAs, laser control ICs, power management devices, memory, and other active electronic components used in optical networking products
• Cost Optimization & Commercial Negotiation: Lead pricing, allocation, supply agreements, long-term commitments, and strategic partnerships; identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Engineering & NPI Support: Partner with Engineering and R&D on component selection, lifecycle management, and supplier technology assessments; support NPI programs
• Market Intelligence & Risk Management: Monitor market conditions, pricing dynamics, lead times, and capacity; provide risk assessments
• Compliance & Governance: Negotiate and manage strategic sourcing agreements, NDAs, LTAs, and ensure regulatory compliance
