Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Manager, New Product Sourcing & Indirect Procurement in Torrance, CA.

Lead sourcing strategies for new products and indirect categories, drive cost savings, and build strong supplier partnerships while guiding a team of procurement professionals. You will partner with Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to set cost targets, timelines, and supplier strategies, ensuring alignment across functions and a focus on performance and risk

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience leading buyers or procurement professionals.
• Experience delivering measurable cost savings in indirect spend.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute indirect spend sourcing strategies across categories such as IT, Marketing, facilities, MRO, and logistics.
• Lead cost savings initiatives through competitive sourcing, supplier consolidation, contract management, and spend analysis.
• Head sourcing for new products from concept through commercialization and production.
• Coach and develop Buyers and procurement team members with clear performance expectations.
• Establish procurement governance, workflows, and supplier documentation controls.
• Monitor KPIs for cost savings, supplier performance, and sourcing milestones.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to set sourcing requirements and targets.
• Identify and qualify domestic and international suppliers and manufacturing partners.
