Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Commercial Sourcing Advisor to support the Los Angeles Refinery, open to Los Angeles, CA. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, market analysis, bid package development, and PO execution, with a focus on cost savings and supplier performance.

The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will manage material purchases for Routine Maintenance and TAR, leveraging SAP, Ariba, Tableau, and M365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience.
• C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develops contracting strategies to establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and ensure service, commercial terms, and strategy optimization.
• Leads bid package process from development through Purchase Order execution and aligns stakeholder and Supply Chain requirements.
• Runs benchmark studies, gathers and analyzes data, and makes recommendations; performs cost analyses and should-cost modeling.
• Fosters internal and external communication across functions and serves as first line contact for operating needs and supply chain support.
• Identifies opportunities for cost savings and risk reduction; develops and executes strategic sourcing projects.
