Summit Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Director, Sourcing & Procurement – R&D Clinical Operations to partner with Clinical Ops, R&D, and Finance. You will lead strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and governance for CROs, central labs, imaging vendors, and other eClinical providers.

This role drives cost efficiency and process improvement across global clinical studies. You will negotiate terms, manage budgets, and build cross-functional governance models to optimize study

Formación

• Minimum BA/BS degree or relevant graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience in Procurement, Vendor Management or Finance in pharma/CRO settings.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines for clinical operations.
• Experience with CROs, central labs, imaging, and supply vendors is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, governance, and contract management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic sourcing and commercial guidance across study planning, startup, execution, and closeout.
• Develop supplier strategies for Clinical Operations and related R&D categories.
• Direct end-to-end CRO/central labs/imaging/eCOA/vendor sourcing activities.
• Translate study requirements into effective procurement plans and vendor solutions.
• Provide market intelligence, bid analysis, and vendor recommendations for budgeting.
• Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and pricing with Legal and Finance input.
• Oversee budgets, change orders, and invoices to identify cost savings.
• Establish vendor governance with scorecards, KPIs, and risk mitigation.
• Identify supplier risks and ensure study timelines and continuity.
