Merlin is seeking a sourcing leader to own end-to-end procurement for aerospace programs. You will build category strategies, run tender processes, and negotiate complex contracts in a regulated environment, partnering with Engineering, Program Management, Supplier Quality, Finance, and Legal.

You will ensure compliant, audit-ready supplier files and manage risk across long-lead items, obsolescence, and capacity constraints while improving spend under management and competitive award rates.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and multiple years in procurement and sourcing.
• 6+ years of experience in commodity management, sourcing, or procurement.
• 3+ years in aviation/aerospace industry including defense/space/MRO.

Mansioni

• Run end-to-end sourcing for assigned spend from sourcing to ERP execution.
• Build and execute category strategy across direct and indirect spend (airborne hardware, engineering software, contract labor, and more).
• Drive competitive sourcing by designing tenders against defined award criteria.
• Manage the supply base and bring in new suppliers to reduce single-source exposure.
• Negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with Merlin policy, ITAR/EAR, and FAR/DFARS.
• Maintain audit-ready purchase files for internal and government reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Quality on supplier qualification.
• Mitigate supply risk and report KPIs such as spend under management and savings.
