Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Lead

Reporting To:

Manager, AG Site Supply Chain

Work Schedule:

Hybrid - Torrance, CA

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills for strategic supply chain decisions
  • Excellent knowledge of contractual requirements, business systems, and processes
  • Understanding of supply chain networks, linkage, and flow
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good negotiation skills, procurement, and contractual law knowledge (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and understanding of complex regulations/procedures
  • Willingness to travel globally for site visits and supplier meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business or Engineering
  • Engineering or technical background with Project/Program Management experience
  • Experience in Aerospace industry
  • Certifications in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management
  • Location in Western New York or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities:
  • Manage lifecycle of programs including proposal development, new product introduction, rate increases, and mass production
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans for designated commodities
  • Support and implement Make vs Buy strategies
  • Evaluate market environment and develop strategies to increase leverage
  • Identify, select, and develop suppliers to enable production and reduce lead times
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and pricing
Salary Range:

Torrance, CA: $95,000 - $120,000 annually

Salary ranges are estimates and vary based on experience, location, and performance. Compensation includes potential bonuses, stock plans, and region-specific benefits.
