Job summary

Ameren Supply Chain internship in St. Louis, MO offers hands-on experience in sourcing, transformation initiatives, and category management.

You will support diverse supply chain activities and collaborate with a team to deliver tangible results. As an intern you will develop should-cost models, analyze supplier and market data, assist in RFP analysis, and contribute to demand planning and inventory improvements.

Qualifications

• Student status in a business or technical program with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale is required.
• Course work or concentration in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Math, or Data Analytics preferred.
• Completed course work through the junior level with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Basic understanding of analytical and statistical approaches to problem solving and financial accounting experience.
• Good understanding of Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills in addition to a high level of initiative.
• Previous experience in the supply chain area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing processes, transformation initiatives, category management and other supply chain activities.
• Assist in developing should-cost financial and economic models and supplier/market intelligence.
• Gather data for demand planning and process improvements or inventory/material processes.
• Participate in Supply Chain group meetings and project deliveries.
